🌈 MAKE THE CONGA LONGA!

🌈 About the project

Through the Make the Conga Longa campaign, we are raising awareness of music therapy and the incredible difference it can make to children's lives.

To celebrate this, we are releasing a brand new song professionally recorded and performed entirely by children, raising awareness of Rosie's Rainbow Fund and the vital work we carry out for hospitalized children and their families.

The single will accompany the launch of Rosie's Rainbow Conga, a new children's storybook written by author and charity founder Carolyn Mayling.

This project is run by Rosie's Rainbow Fund in partnership with the professional management team of Redroofs School for the Performing Arts.

🌈 About the song

Rosie's Rainbow Conga is an upbeat, feel-good children's song written and composed by Dean Amer, with lyrics by Dean Amer and additional lyrics by Carolyn Mayling.

🌈 We are now casting the young voices to bring it to life.

The single will be available via QR code download, featured on the Rosie's Rainbow Conga storybook, to be published in June 2026 and we hope will also be widely available online.

🌈 About the Book

Rosie's Rainbow Conga is a brand-new children's storybook written by Carolyn Mayling, illustrated by Ursula Hurst, and endorsed by Lorraine Kelly CBE, patron of Rosie's Rainbow Fund.

Aimed at young children, the story set on a ward of a children’s hospital tells the magical story of how music therapy turns children's lives from grey to rainbow colour - helping them find joy, happiness, and connection through the power of music.

🌈 The book will be published in June 2026, with a public launch onstage at the Rosie's Rainbow Fund charity gala at Wycombe Swan Theatre on 14th June.

The book includes a QR code linking to the charity single, bringing the story and the song together in one colourful package.

🌈 All profits go directly to Rosie's Rainbow Fund.
