This morning clearing what Mum used to call the "archive room" at Redroofs, amongst thousands of cards and letters,press cuttings, old reports and certificates, I unearthed Rosie’s very last Spotlight entry. A beaming headshot of Rosie taken in October 2002, only two months before she fell ill when our lives changed forever and hers ended. No hint of illness here , just my gregarious mischievous happy daughter smiling up at me from a pile of papers at the bottom of a random box.
