Getting a makeover, and chatting about life in general, is always a pleasant experience – but it’s EXTRA special if you’re a guest on ‘Katie Piper’s Weekend Escape’ on ITV!

In each episode, Katie is joined by a special guest, nominated by their loved ones, who gets treated to a full day of pampering. And this coming Sunday it’s CAROLYN MAYLING’s turn!

Carolyn, who co-owns Redroofs School for the Performing Arts in Maidenhead, founded the children’s charity ‘Rosie’s Rainbow Fund’ in honour of her daughter Rosie when she died at the age of 11. The fund provides music therapy for sick children in hospitals in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, as well as support for stressed and grieving parents.

Carolyn is also the author of a memoir called ‘The Future Is Rosie’, which charts her journey through devastating loss, grief, healing, hope, and the birth of a son when she was 54 years old.

“I want to show others that even in the darkest times, when people have been through significant loss, illness or unbelievable challenges, that they still have a future. Despite everything, there is still joy to be found,” Carolyn says. “Rosie’s spirit lives on through everything we do.”
