Honoured to be guest speaker at the prestigious Media Hub on July 10th at the fabulous Bel and The Dragon Cookham Berkshire.
Bookings on Eventbrite – see link below.
Carolyn Mayling will be sharing her incredibly moving personal story with us all. When Carolyn was teaching at Redroofs School for the Performing Arts, her 11 year old daughter Rosie developed vasculitis, a rare auto immune disease. After six traumatic months in hospital, Rosie tragically died.
At our next Media Hub, Carolyn will be talking to Marlow FM's Carla Delaney about how she learned to live with this imaginable loss, why she decided to have another child at the age of 54 and how she coped with other subsequent challenges in her life, such as a divorce and breast cancer.
Despite everything that has happened to her, Carolyn still believes that "The Future is Rosie", which appropriately is the name of her book.
After Carolyn's interview, we will be having a fun-filled networking session and this will be led by Cathy Evans from Inkspot Publishing.
So, do join us if you are free - tickets are only available on Eventbrite:
